Five Barrel Brewing is among the breweries featured in some of the 600 billboards and digital screens that have gone up across the nation this week for the campaign that also includes Youtube videos and social ads.
And Seacliff Vodka features on some digital ads.
Phillip O'Shea of Five Barrel Brewing, said after the challenges of bushfires and COVID-19 it was a terrific 'support local' initiative.
Shopping local is something the Wollongong business has encouraged since day one.
"So it is amazing to see such support from other businesses and the wider community," he said.
"As a small family business we don't have much of an advertising budget, let alone billboard money.
"This is without a doubt the biggest media campaign we've been a part of.
"2020 has been rough. The bushfires and COVID have had a big impact on our confidence moving forward, but initiatives like the Local Luvva campaign from BWS will give us some great exposure, reminding people that small, local producers make some absolutely quality products".
BWS managing director Scott Davidson said the company is aware of how hard COVID-19 has hit independent suppliers and antd to do more to support them.
"We've always been passionate about having products made by local producers in our stores, and now we want to make sure all of our customers know about these incredible, locally made drinks," he said.
Head of marketing Vanessa Rowed said the campaign was designed so that the supplier's brand and logo was front and centre to celebrate local, independent Australian producers.
The latest campaign is not the first time in 2020 BWS has helped local businesses in regions such as the Illawarra and South Coast.
Earlier this year, BWS and Dan Murphy's took part in an initiative by parent company Endeavour Group to fast-track over 350 new suppliers and thousands of products to stores to support suppliers struggling due to Covid-19 restrictions.
BWS is also opening a new store at Bomaderry as part of the new Woolworths complex on Wednesday.
Corang Estate from the NSW Tablelands is coming into the new BWS Bomaderry on Thursday for people to chat to them about wines.
The new store also stocks Coolangatta Estate wines.
