They instantly realised they still had the same ability to bounce off each other. So this Tuesday night they are taking that creative energy and collaborating on a new weekly show called Tuesday Night Live.
Radburn said it pays tribute to some of the great variety shows of the past such as The Midday Show, Hey Hey it's Saturday and The Don Lane Show.
The main difference is the two hosts are doing it all from their homes via Zoom and streaming it to Facebook so everyone can watch live at 8.30pm every Tuesday.
"We are also going to add a little bit of Graham Norton in there," he said.
Radburn said work dried up in the live entertainment scene when COVID-19 hit but he and Pearson saw no reason why they couldn't share their talent and creativity with others.
Radburn said variety television programs brought amazing artists together and each week millions of viewers were glued to their TV screens watching them be interviewed and perform.
Now he and Pearson are doing that again with guests such as Rhonda Burchmore, the red Wiggle Simon Pryce and magicians Helen and Arthur Coghlan who have managed to fool Penn and Teller three times.
"Rhonda is a national treasure and going to be interviewed and sing," Radburn said.
"Simon was the understudy to Anthony Warlow in The Phantom and did over 100 shows as the alternate Phantom.
"And only two weeks ago Helen and Arthur Coghlan fooled Penn and Teller for the third time on their international magic show Penn and Teller Fool Us".
Radburn is himself an example of what happens when a creative person is stuck at home in social isolation. They create and he has added a Donald Trump impersonation to his repertoire that has been amusing and entertaining his friends on Facebook in recent weeks.
The character will make an appearance in the first episode of Tuesday Night Live and will be congratulating the two ex Kinsmen on their new program and wishing them the best.
Radburn said there will also be a surprise 'blast from the past' guest everyone knows who will also be surprised when Tuesday Night Live calls them during the first broadcast.
"Robert and I are really passionate about variety," he said.
"And we just thought while we have this time on our hands lets just muck around with the Zoom platform.
"For example about five weeks ago Rob, I and George Harvey from the Four Kinsmen got Graham Wilson to introduce us singing Love Is All Around on the Four Kinsmen Group Facebook page.
"People just loved it and that is why Robert and I decided to get together and do more.
"Robert and I realised when we get together the old spark of creativity comes back.
"We have all these things we are bouncing off each other and we are just going WOW this is going to be fun".
