Many of the Rotary Districts were severely affected by the bushfires.
The Nutbush Dance is typically an Australian dance which is performed to Tina Turner's song from the 1970s, Nutbush City Limits.
We want to have a bit of fun and get some exercise at the same time which is why we have planned this Nutbush Dance.
This will occur at various venues around Australia at 11am (AEST) on Saturday, February 29, 2020, including Wollongong, Perth and various venues in Queensland.
In NSW there are two venues. One venue will be in Stuart Park, Wollongong (on the corner of George Henley Dr and Cliff Rd). The other venue is in Cathy Freeman Park in Olympic Park, Homebush.
The Rotary Clubs of the Illawarra would like to invite everyone to come to Stuart Park to do the Nutbush. You are never too old or too young to do a Nutbush dance.
Rotary is extremely grateful to Tickets.com for organising the ticketing for us free of charge.
