The event will be held in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates, November 7-15.
James's automatic selection in the squad followed his remarkable success at the 2017 London world titles.
He will go to Dubai as the defending world champion, having won three gold medals in London in the T36 200m (in world record time), 400m and 800m.
Ahead of the World Para Championships, James set a new unofficial T36 200m world record, the time of 23.60s now means he's ranked first in the world in the 200m, 400m and 800m in his classification.
Cross Country
Alec Morrisby in the BU14 division and Charlize Colwell in the GU12 para division competed at the Australian Cross Country Championships at Kembla Joggers trakc, with Charlize finishing fourth in her class and Alec running a huge race.
Oceania Masters
Anthony Howlett is still competing in the Oceania Masters Championships, having won a silver medal in the 50-54 triple jump with a leap of 10:06 metres behind legendary New Zealander Rod Plimmer.
Howlett also claimed silver in the 400-metre hurdles with a time of 1:13.19 and fourth in the discus with a throw of 33.48 metres.
Catholic schools carnival
The St Mary's College 16-17 years girls team of Janna Hadaya, Emer Spiers, Hanna Crinnion and Elena Delaveris broke the relay record with a time of 50.14 seconds, winning by more than four and a half seconds.
Individually the girls did well in their own events, Janna Hadaya (G17+) came first in Javelin 25.84m, third in the 100m in 13.07 and third in triple jump with 9.32m.
Hanna Crinnion (G17+) was second in the 200m in 26.93sec, first in long jump with a record-setting 5.15m and second in the 400m in 59.54sec.
Emer Spiers (G16) was first in the 200m (26.22), first in 100m (12.97) and third in high jump (1.40m).
St Mary's Chelsey-Rose Jackson (G16) was second in the 100m (13.11), Allegra Fock (G13) second in high jump (1.40m), Holy Spirit's Austen Lantry (B17+) second in high jump (1.70m) and Tierney Dunne (G17+) took the triple in the sprint events winning the 100m (12.32), 200m (25.56) and 400m in (59.10).
Sarah Walker (G16) from Albion Park had a very busy day, fourth in the triple jump 9.23m, fourth in the 100m (13.78), fourth in long jump (4.33m) and first in discus (21.89m).
The NSWCCC Carnival at Sydney Olympic Park is on September 20, while our first club meet will be Wednesday October 9 at Beaton Park.
