The Corrimal Chamber of Commerce has been looking after businesses and the community of Corrimal and surrounds since 1949 and celebrates its 70th anniversary this year.
Spring into Corrimal chairperson, Paul Boultwood said, "We have a strong membership base and are growing every day. Most of our members are from the Northern Illawarra but we also have many members outside this area."
The Chamber's mission is to advance business and community at the same time. They aim to create a vibrant and successful business and community environment by providing leadership, advocacy and collaboration.
"We provide valued services to our members, to promote economic growth, to be the collective voice of our members and to be a strategic partner in initiatives that have an impact on our lives, businesses and community," Paul said.
The Corrimal Chamber of Commerce recently won the award for best local Chamber of Commerce in NSW.

"It is most important to give back and help others. If we can help members of the community and businesses located in our area to co-exist by working with each other, it is a better outcome for all," Paul said. "The times have changed and we are all much busier than we were and helping to share the load allows more to be done."
