The 'White House', located at 26 Albert Street, Berry is a five-bedroom, two-bathroom house sitting on a 650sqm block.
The north-east facing Berry bungalow has been fully renovated, combining a blend of Hamptons and rural coastal living.
Owner Kathryn Green, 38, and husband Andrew, 39, both self-employed, bought the property about two years ago, having previously relocated from Sydney.
Having previous experience renovating properties, they set about undertaking work on the 'White House'.
"This was once a timber cedar cottage that hadn't been touched in 25 years or so," Mrs Green said.
"The original part of it was the old workers' cottage, a 1922 workers' cottage... It was really unkempt, the garden was all overgrown. It was a lot of work."
The white timber weatherboard home is open plan, with light-filled living and dining areas, panelled ceilings and white timber floors.
The Hamptons-style approach is inspired by the architecture and decorating of holiday homes in the seaside communities along the eastern beaches of upstate New York's neighbouring Long Island.
A key element to the Hamptons-style look is liberal use of the colour white.
Mrs Green said they embraced the Hamptons-style approach, which was well-suited to Berry's rural, seaside feel.
"I suppose we've come from the beaches in Sydney, so we've brought that with us," she said of the Hamptons approach.
"Our biggest thing is white just transforms anything.
"It's also the ease of living; with kids, the open plan... This wasn't open plan, and we've made it open plan.
"It's that feeling of space and ease of living. It's north-east facing, so we get really beautiful light, and having everything white in terms of floors and ceilings, it really opens the place up and we get such beautiful light."
The home also features a completely renovated kitchen with new appliances.
Having fallen in love with the Berry community, Mrs Green said they were selling as they hoped to buy an acreage property in the area for them and their two children.
"There's a few farms around that we've got our eye on," she said.
"The sale is bittersweet - we do really like it here."
The selling agent is Carrie Bond from South Coast Prestige Properties.
