The Rotary Club of Wollongong South has raised and given over $520,000 to worthy charities, individuals in need, local schools, community groups and Rotary projects from the proceeds of the annual fairs.
It's an outstanding achievement made possible by the dedication of our membership over the years.
One of this year's major beneficiaries will be SCARF (Strategic Community Assistance to Refugee Families) who help with the settlement of refugees into the local area.
The Antique Fair is supported by The Inner Wheel Club of Wollongong who provide the catering for the weekend.
Proceeds from the Inner Wheel's fund-raising also go to charity with them being big supporters of the Autism Spectrum South Coast School.
"Support from the local business community has played a major part in enabling Rotary to hold the event and contribute to the many wonderful causes in need of help," current president Giovanni Zappia said.
This year's major sponsor is Piruse Constructions.
