Player of the Carnival Pascoe clinched the Fours crown on Saturday morning before skipping clubmate Tom Hull to win the Pairs and complete a dream debut.
Corey Wedlock made it three Singles titles by the age of 22 with an impressive 31-20 win over new Corrimal recruit Pete Bonsor in the blue-ribbon Singles final.
Wiseman Park proved the outstanding club at the 60th annual carnival with Chris Smith, Ben Ford, Pascoe and skip Robbie Warren beating a composite side skipped by Jeremy Henry 22-14 in the Fours decider.
And despite an 8.30am start, the match was played in sweltering heat and deadlocked 8-8 early on before the Wiseman Park rink pulled away.
The victory was special for Robbie Warren who claimed his first South Pacific title after more than three decades playing at the carnival.
“It’s probably 35 years on and off playing here and to crack it for a win is very satisfying,’’ Warren said.
It hasn’t been a lucky place, but it feels fantastic to win

“It’s funny how things go because this place (Towradgi) hasn’t been the best venue for me. I lost a Zone Singles final here 31-30 and it hasn’t been a lucky place, but it feels fantastic to win my first South Pacific here now.’’
Meanwhile, Jeremy Henry doesn’t often play in the South Pacific and when he does he generally teams up with bowlers with plenty of ability but without the big profile.
This year Eric Haynes asked his world champion Warilla clubmate if he’d like to join a rink with Haynes’ mates Bob Lang and John Dawson.
Haynes, Lang and Dawson all played together at Picton BC in Zone 5, with Dawson confirming he was joining Figgy Bowlo in 2019.
Meanwhile, the stifling heat of Saturday morning gave way to a strengthening southerly through the Pairs and Singles finals making it tricky for all players.
With Hull outstanding and Pascoe coming off his Fours triumph, the duo were a little too strong for their Wiseman Park clubmates, father and son Glenn and Jordan Taylor, winning 20-12.
And while the Taylors were not able to become only the second father-son Pairs champions, they continued a great run at the carnival with two appearances in the final plus a semi-final finish in the past three years.
Meanwhile in the Singles, Corey Wedlock showed his class to withstand a tough fight from Bonsor – with the match tied at 17-17 – before the Jackaroos star made his move with a 14-3 run.
Wedlock looks the perfect signing for Warilla: a recruit from arguably their main rival Cabramatta, plus a bowler already in the national squad and still with his best years ahead.
“I would have been happy to win one South Pacific singles title so to have a chance of winning three was just amazing,’’ Wedlock said.
“The carnival is held in such high regard around here that it means a lot to play well and contend for the title.’’
