The beachside apartment is located at 22/9 Bong Bong Street, Kiama.
It is part of the boutique, 22-unit ‘Bluewater Apartments’ complex.
The building was completed in December 2017.
The property had previously been listed with a price guide of $2,490,777 to $2.7 million.
Selling agent, Mark Spinelli of Spinelli Real Estate said it was sold to a local buyer, although had also attracted Sydney interest.
“It’s one of the best apartments in Kiama, due to the views and the quality of the finish,” he said.
Mr Spinelli said the double width apartment featured a 15-metre wide balcony.
The home is comprised of three bedrooms, plus media room/study, two bathrooms, powder room, laundry, and spacious living and kitchen.
Kiama properties featured among the The Domain Group’s Top Selling Illawarra Properties list for 2017.
The unit at 6/2 Barney Street, Kiama sold for $3,050,000. The single-level apartment is located opposite Kiama’s Surf Beach.
Also, 3/10 Barney Street, Kiama sold for $2.73 million, while 2/10 Barney Street sold for $2.7 million.
