When Ms Abu-Gazaleh was 19 and thinking about starting the organisation to help young males she went to a Wollongong book store to search for something that might help her. She purchased Secrets of Male Entrepreneurs Exposed and read it many times to learn the everything she could to turn her idea into reality.
Top Blokes has gone on to foster social inclusion, emotional and social resilience for young men, improving their mental health and well-being. Its programs provide an affirmative platform for young males to employ positive decision making skills, become positive role models to their peers and adopt healthier lifestyle choices while developing personal qualities of integrity, character and respect.
Ms Abu-Gazaleh said the book helped her enormously and recently she had an opportunity to give back. “I was invited to be interviewed in the very book series that kick-started my confidence to start the Top Blokes Foundation”.
She not only appears on in the latest edition of Secrets of Successful Entrepreneurs Exposed by Dale Beaumont but features on the cover. But it doesn’t stop there. She was also given some copies of the book to sell, with all sales going straight to Top Blokes.
