In the past you would have found their representatives hanging out in the Corrimal RSL Marquee, but this year they will be creating a complete alfresco venue for the day in the street directly in front of the club.
Sit back and relax in “the club at the end of the street” for this one day only event.
“Enjoy our fabulous Jaffa menu with Refreshments from James Squire and Coca-Cola available in our “pop-up” beer garden on the highway – commencing straight after the CossiesRUs Grand Parade and be entertained by local talent,” CEO of Corrimal RSL Sara Watkins said.

There will be performances by students of Wollongong Performing Arts High taking part in a talent competition hosted by the amazing Christine Anu and performances by Christine herself during the day.
“We invite everyone to come, sit back and relax after they have enjoyed the rest of the amazing day that is Spring into Corrimal,” added Jacqueline James of Corrimal RSL.
Christine Anu is arguably Australia’s most successful indigenous performer and one of Australia’s most popular recording artists, backed by an award-winning repertoire spanning across music, theatre, dance, film, television and children’s entertainment.
Her illustrious career over two decades boasts of platinum albums, sell-out musicals, Hollywood blockbusters, and high-profiled collaborations with showbiz and musical luminaries such as Baz Luhrmann (Moulin Rouge), Paul Kelly and David Atkins.
Five solo albums later, Christine pulls out all the stops with the formation of Stylin Up Entertainment, a collective focused on developing and producing new media brands that are proudly Australian.
And as a local Christine Anu has been eager to take part.
The “club at the end of the street” venue will set up as soon as the parade has passed through and trade right through until 4pm. RSA laws will apply to service areas on the day, so children are welcomed but must be accompanied by an adult.
Plenty to look forward to!
Plus there’s more
Spring into Corrimal will signify the launch of the club’s month-long drive for drought relief. Their “Dinner & Drinks – for Drought Relief” will see 20 cents from every item sold throughout the month of September donated as they aim to send a “whole truck” out to our famers.
Club members will also be invited to “Raise the Bar” and donate their Heart Reward points to the cause.
Throughout the Spring into Corrimal Festival, Corrimal RSL will be having double donations for every sale or donation made on the day.
But wait...there’s more.
Wollongong Council’s Giant Car Boot Sale is back in the Corrimal RSL car park during the Spring into Corrimal this Sunday on September 9 from 8am until noon.
It’s an ideal opportunity to browse and pick up some fantastic bargains – make sure you get in early.
