The 13-year-old appeared in Bega Children’s Court on Wednesday, where she pleaded guilty to the assault on a Year 7 girl.
The assault was filmed by other students and posted to social media where it was widely shared, the incident making national headlines.
Magistrate David O'Connor heard the girl threw the victim on to a concrete floor, punching and kicking her to the head and back as she lay in a stairwell.
Police say the victim suffered a severely swollen and bruised eye and bruising to her forehead.
The girl was found guilty of assault occasioning actual bodily harm and intimidation. In addition to the bond, an Apprehended Violence Order is in place for 12 months.
The assault was condemned by the school principal at the time, who said as well as working with police, the students involved – including those involved in filming and distributing the footage – were being dealt with under the school’s disciplinary policy.
