A second half double from Shayne Ardle and a crucial strike by Robert Delbanco cancelled out Ricky Goodchild’s early goal for the hosts at Tarrawanna Oval.
Delbanco’s equaliser from a corner came just moments before the half time whistle and helped turn the ledger squarely in the White Eagles favour.
They carried that momentum into the second half to secure another three points and cement their spot in third on the ladder.
“It’s another box ticked,” Park coach Paul Carter said.
“I thought we did well.
“We are not going to get carried away though because there is still such a long way to go in the season.
“As I have said before, I can see us improving as the year goes on and think you won’t see the best of us until the second round.”
Carter was pleased with his side’s determination to come back from a goal down on the weekend.
Goodchild put Tarrawanna in front just seven minutes in when he low shot round the back of the net.
Park had a wealth of possession from then on, but had to wait until the final seconds of the half to convert.
Ardle whipped in a dangerous corner which eventually fell to Delbanco to level things at 1-1.
Nine minutes after the break Ardle had one of his own to give the White Eagles the advantage before he added the killer blow when he met a cross expertly in the 76th minute.
“We are creating a lot of chances and I thought one of them would eventually go in,” Carter said.
“I’ll be honest. I was relieved to get the goal right on half time. In the second half we were confident and opened them up a number of times.
“Our attack was a lot better today. We have been working on our defence, but our link up play is really starting to show as well.”
Albion Park back up during the week against National Premier League Men’s 3 outfit SD Raiders in the FFA Cup.
“We will play a strong side,” Carter said. “They won’t be easy, but I am hoping to give some guys some game time who need it.”
