The successful running of a club depends largely on the massive input of volunteers.
Over the last year, our committee and executive along with parent helpers allowed our club to hold successful weekly meets involving a large percentage of our membership.
The implementing of programs, following up results and reporting on successes takes a tremendous amount of unpaid time for those involved. Our club is proud of, and grateful for the efforts of all those who contributed to a very successful season.
Athletics Wollongong will be holding its annual awards presentation night at Keiraville Public School assembly hall at 6pm on Saturday, April 21.
It will be one of our most successful presentation nights in recent memory, as we not only celebrate the successes of many of our athletes up to state level, but the success of 16 of our talented youngsters compete in the Australian Junior Athletics Championships.
