Condello blasted 10 fours and three sixes to set the Rats on course for a total of 5-173 from their 20 overs. As the wild weather set in, Shellharbour had enough time at the crease to be 2-77 from eight overs in reply, Mitchell Phelps leading the charge with 28, while Mitch Watterson was unbeaten on 20.
Lake Illawarra also took the points after a rain-reduced chase, smashing 1-50 off five overs against Gerringong who recovered from 6-87 to make 9-131. James Barnes had 29 off 18 balls and Scott Groves 19 off 11, after opener Brendon Piggott made a steady 33.
Kerrod White had unbeaten 20 in reply, which was enough for the Lakers to take the points on Duckworth-Lewis. Kookas were the only team bowling second to earn victory, restricting The Rail to 4-34 off 7.3 overs, after earlier posting 7-115 off their 20 overs.
