Hosted by sculptor Graham Chalcroft from 2-4pm, it is designed to help residents shape the public art design that will be used at the new park.
At their last meeting, councillors voted to accept a $632,319 tender for VGF Skate Parks to build the long-awaited facility.
Designs for the skate park – a facility the council has deemed out-of-date and hazardous – were revealed in June.
It is tipped to become a social hub for young people in Shellharbour, and will be suitable for different generations.
Additionally, the prominent site will “become an entry statement to the village forming a highly activated corner’ lifting the profile of the youth community”, the plans said.
