Twilight zone: Wollongong's Twilight Markets will be back, bigger and better than ever at Flagstaff Hill over spring and summer, under the management of Corrimal Rotary Club.

The Rotary Club of Corrimal is delighted to confirm they will be hosting and managing Wollongong’s ever popular Twilight Markets once again this spring/summer.

Held at Flagstaff Hill on the first Friday evening of each month, commencing at 5 30pm from October through March, the Twilight Markets showcase a hand-picked selection of some of the Illawarra’s finest food vendors.

“Flagstaff Hill on a Friday evening is a wonderful place to be,” Rotary Club of Corrimal President Sue Clark said.

“This is the second year we have operated the markets. We learnt a lot last year and we will be bringing our guests an even more exciting experience this season.”

Along with familiar food favourites, this year the market will also be home to a limited number of local artists and artisans selling their handmade arts, crafts and produce.

“We are keen to give local artists, artisans and entertainers a platform to show their talents to the Illawarra”, said Corrimal Rotary PR director, Kay Mireylees.

“We will be inviting performances by local community groups and look forward to the fun, family environment this will foster.”

Along with familiar food favourites, this year the market will also be home to a limited number of local artists and artisans selling their handmade arts, crafts and produce.

The first Twilight Market of the season will be held on Friday, October 6, in conjunction with the Leukaemia Foundation’s annual “Light the Night” event, followed by November 3, December 1, January 5, February 2 and March 2.
