Collins has been portraying The King for 27 years and a regular entertainer at the annual Parkes Elvis Festival and around Wollongong.
This will be the sixth time the marriage celebrant enters the competition on July 15 and 16, in the hope to represent Australia at the world titles in Tennessee later in the year.
The event is part of the week-long VIVA Surfers Paradise, a retro rock’n’roll festival celebrating all tribute artists.
The annual event expects 60,000 fans across seven days to watch tributes to heroes like John Lennon, Queen, Dean Martin, Jim Morrison and the Blues Brothers.
