Woonona singer-songwriter Keira Sigsworth thought it was a strange gesture for her friends to send in an application for a reality dating show on her behalf.

The then 21-year-old had just gone through a bad break-up (it was discovered her ex-boyfriend had many women in his life) so decided to roll with it and be on Prime7’s First Dates.
“I was just one of many girls … and my friends were really upset watching me go through that and thought it would be a really good thing for me because it’s something I would never do myself,” Ms Sigsworth said.
Going on a reality show was the last place the thought she’d bump into one of her ex’s mistresses.
“One of his ex-girlfriends also had a date on the same show I did. Her and I were gossiping so much before the date,” Ms Sigsworth said.
“I walked into my date full of so much energy and positivty and ‘I can do this’ [attitude].”
Tuesday night’s episode saw her date, Harry Fittler from Oberon, “smitten” but unfortunately the pair haven’t seen each other since – except for posts on Facebook.
“We have such different lives, he wanted to settle down and buy a house and a farm,” she said.
“I lived by the beach and wanted to travel and play music.”
