Govers, who missed the league last year through injury, had to settle for the silver medal after Mumbai lost to the Kalinga Lancers 4-1 in the final and White missed the bronze medal after his Delhi team lost to the UP Wizards 5-4.
Mumbai had beaten Delhi 2-0 in the semis on Saturday.
Govers had a mighty game for Dabang Mumbai scoring a great goal in the closing minutes of the game when down 3-1 but his goal was disallowed after an infringement outside the circle.
Kalinga's German international Moritz Fuerste then scored a penalty and sealed their victory after fellow Goulburn player Glen Turner had scored the early goals.
White, who had to withdraw from the Rio Olympics, also played a starring role for the Delhi Waveriders before the Wizards' Indian captain Raghunath scored a penalty corner to clinch the match.
