The duo represented NSW at the Australian Schools Athletics Championships held at Homebush in Sydney recently.
Chelsea won a silver in the 100m, 200m (running under the national record) and shot put. She also came fifth in long jump.
Delta won a silver in the high jump, fourth in the long jump and finished seventh in the 100m.
Both girls were in the NSW 4x100m team which won gold and broke the national record.
Albion Park also did well at the NSW State Relays held at Homebush on November 19-20. The club won six gold and three silver medals. A highlight of the meet was winning a medal in every 4X100m event Albion Park competed in, including golds for the under-17’s mixed 4X100m and under-13’s 4X100 mixed team.
The club is run by a dedicated committee led by president Rick Watkins.
