Gordon Bradbery is your Independent candidate in the Wollongong By-election this Saturday on November 12.
For the past five years, Lord Mayor Gordon Bradbery has been working to turn the city around but there is no resting on laurels, as the Lord Mayor wants to do more.
“For 25 years Wollongong has been a safe seat,” Lord Mayor Gordon Bradbery said. “Far too often I hear the complaints that we’re being ignored by Macquarie Street, and I agree!
“The major parties either put us in the ‘Too hard’ basket, or the ‘It’s ok, they’ll vote us in anyways’ basket. We need to break this cycle. We HAVE to break this cycle if Wollongong is to grow and prosper.
“The potential to drive investment to our region is there, I’ve done it! That investment creates jobs, and security for our people. It creates futures.

“Investment in our region, and its subsequent growth and development during my time as Lord Mayor is second to none.
“So I want to take Wollongong to Macquarie Street. I want to remind them that we are here, and will no longer be ignored.”
Not aligned to any party, Lord Mayor Gordon Bradbery is thus not restricted by party politics.
“I will be a trusted voice for Wollongong,” Cr Bradbery said. “As an independent candidate, I’ve already shaken up the major parties. Imagine what an independent representative can do for Wollongong.”
