The only difference is that the fourth annual event will be held at Five Islands Secondary College in Port Kembla, for the first time.
But festival organisers, the Spanish and Latin American Community Organisation (SALCO) promise people will enjoy an afternoon of delicious food, fun games and music on Saturday, October 15.
‘’For four years the multicultural community of the Illawarra has had the opportunity to experience the sounds and culture of the diverse Spanish Latin American culture,’’ SALCO spokeswoman Bertha Quiros said.
‘’The event continues to grow and we encourage everyone to come along this year and enjoy another fantastic day.’’
Latin Power will perform for the fourth straight year, while the free event running from noon to 4pm will also include performances from Uruguay, Chile, Argentina, Spain and Salsa dance groups.
There will also be an art exhibition showcasing the works of the local Spanish speaking community, Capoeira demonstration, traditional games and soccer skills demonstration.
‘’And it wouldn’t be a Latin festival without delicious food such as paella, churros, Columbian empanadas and South American pastries,’’ Ms Quiros said.
Entry to the festival is free. Visit www.islaf.org.au for more details.
