Golf NSW and Jack Newton Junior Golf are hosting a three-day MyGolf school holiday clinic at Wollongong Golf Club.
Sessions will be held on Monday, October 3, Wednesday, October 5 and Friday, October 7 at 2pm.
Each clinic involves a mix of putting, chipping and full swing games and activities.
MyGolf introduces the basic skills of the sport in a fun and friendly environment while allowing children to experience the social aspect of the sport by playing with friends and others their own age.
The nation-wide program hopes to introduce the game of golf to children aged between five and 12.
Current world number one Jason Day is the ambassador of the MyGolf program supported by Golf Australia and Golf NSW.
Each MyGolf session lasts for two hours and at the conclusion of the program there will be a sausage sizzle at the club for all the participants.
It costs $15 per child per session or $40 for the three sessions.
To book visit http://www.mygolf.org.au/programs/Wollongong .
Select the multi-session registration option to book all three sessions. For more details call Darius Gear on 0466 156 389.
