But she had to tone it down a touch when Saunders organised a flash mob dance at Austinmer Public School last Sunday.
About 50 kids, teachers and parents danced to local band Tropical Strength’s song I’m not there, for the school’s Afternoon on the Green Fete on November 8.
The 40-year-old Saunders has two kids. One of them, Audrey Steffen, is in kindergarten at Austinmer Public School.
‘’This is all about having a bit of fun and celebrating what a great place Austinmer school is,’’ she said.
Earlier this year the co-founding member of The Fondue Set was commissioned by Sydney Festival 2015 to create two new street based large scale community dance projects as part of Bankstown: LIVE through Urban Theatre Projects titled The Bankstown Dancing Project.
This involved Saunders engaging over 50 Vietnamese community participants to create a new ballroom dance and a Hokey Pokey for the 21st century.
